GPU-Z is a lightweight utility designed to give you all information about your video card and GPU. Support NVIDIA and ATI cards. Displays adapter, GPU and display information. Displays overclock, default clocks and 3D clocks.
Overview
TechPowerUp GPU-Z is a software program developed by techPowerUp. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named GPU-Z.exe. The setup package generally installs about 11 files and is usually about 1.3 MB (1,367,211 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10.
