What is Snapfish Media Detector?
HP preinstalls Snapfish PictureMover with the computers it sells to residential customers. Snapfish, an online photo service, is a division of Hewlett Packard (HP). PictureMover (Snapfish Media Detector) software transfers pictures from your camera or memory card to your Snapfish account. Photos are also copied to "My Pictures" on your computer. You are given the option to automatically delete the photos from your camera or memory cards once they have been transferred.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. The primary executable is named SnapfishMediaDetector.exe. The setup package is about 1.38 MB (1,441,792 bytes) when donwloaded.
