What is RoboForm 7-9-11-1?

RoboForm is a password management and web form filling program that automates password entering and form filling, developed by Siber Systems, Inc. It is available for many web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome. In order to manage passwords securely, you also have to set up a master password in order to encrypt data stored by Roboform. This is the only password that must be remembered. It must be entered when you log into your computer to manage passwords and other data.

Overview

Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. The program adds a toolbar to Microsoft Internet Explorer. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is robotaskbaricon.exe. The software installer includes 17 files and is usually about 64 MB (67,109,542 bytes).
