Raptr

What is Raptr?

Raptr is a social networking application and instant messenger that is geared towards video game players. The downloaded client integrates with the PC (using EasyHook) as well as 3rd-party applications such as Yahoo Messenger, AIM, ICQ and Xfire. It includes features such as game achievement tracking, in-game overlay, and game management. The Raptr In-Game Overlay supports a number of games including Call of Duty, Half-Life, TrackMania and many more.

How do I remove Raptr?

You can uninstall Raptr from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
  1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
    • Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
  2. When you find the program Raptr, click it, and then do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
  3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Raptr.

Raptr consistently caused my Asus-based Intel PC running Win7-64 to crash when put in sleep mode. Removing Raptr solved problem.
