What is Lenovo Fingerprint Software?
The Lenovo Fingerprint Software is a Biometric logon application that enables the user to logon to their personal computer through the use of the biometric fingerprint reader in replacement of a password.
Overview
The most common release is 3.3.2.50, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named fpapp.exe. The setup package generally installs about 30 files and is usually about 13.22 MB (13,866,775 bytes).
