What is GamesBar?

GamesBar is a centralized utility for managing and launching Oberon video games. The GamesBar is an add-on to Internet browsers that allows users to quickly and easily access games. It works in conjunction with the games sites Pogo and I-Play. Users can access many types of games, including puzzle, strategy, arcade, card and time-management games. If you do not utilize Oberon games you can safely uninstall this program.

The MyGames area of the Iplay GamesBar looks up the GameCenter Games that are installed on your computer, either as trial versions or full version. Each game can be instantly launched when you are using your web browser.

Overview

Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software installer includes 7 files and is usually about 2.91 MB (3,056,012 bytes).
