What is FormatFactory?
FormatFactory is an ad-supported freeware multimedia converter that can convert video, audio, and picture files. It is also capable of ripping DVDs and CDs to other file formats, as well as creating .iso images. It can also join multiple video files together into one. FormatFactory supports 3gp, mpg, mkv, flv, swf, mp4, vob, mov, wav, aac, jpg and other audio, video and image formats.

Overview
The most used version is 2.80, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The main program executable is formatfactory.exe. The software installer includes 43 files and is usually about 114.22 MB (119,769,656 bytes).

How do I remove FormatFactory?
You can uninstall FormatFactory from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
