DealsFactor
What is DealsFactor?
DealsFactor is an adware/advertising supported web browser plugin that is typically bundled by a 3rd-party download manager which includes potentially unwanted software offers in order to monetize installs (pay per install) or through malvertising practices. Once running, this adware is designed to deliver advertisements to the browser in a number of formats including banners, text hyper-links, inline text ads and/or transitionals. These ads are not affiliated with nor endorsed by the underlying website on which they appear and are just injected by the plugin and will appear in the header or footer of the web page or replace any legitimate ads the website already has implemented. Injected ad placements may contain links to further information about the ad (by clicking the "About this Ad".) The software also communicates with a remote server in order to report the browsing habits of the user as well as URLs and domains the browser visits so that it can update its advertisements.
From the Privacy Policy: "The plugin and other services collect and stores information concerning the web pages you visit and your activity on those pages, such as impressions, clicks and search terms. In some cases, information collected by the plugin and other services may be personally identifiable, and in some cases information (including information from or about pages of social media websites you visit) may be used or shared with third parties for purposes of displaying targeted advertisements promotional and marketing material to you."

How do I remove DealsFactor?
You can uninstall DealsFactor from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program DealsFactor, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove DealsFactor.
- If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
