The Calendar Planner Standard Edition

What is The Calendar Planner Standard Edition?  (from Reel Logix)

Reel Logix's™ calendar software is used for scheduling everything from personal calendars & schedules to project calendars for Fortune 100 companies. From small business schedules and office calendars to the scheduling of movies like "Iron Man", "The Golden Compass™" and TV shows like "24".

Overview

The Calendar Planner Standard Edition is a software program developed by Reel Logix. Upon being installed, the software adds a Windows Service which is designed to run continuously in the background. Manually stopping the service has been seen to cause the program to stop functing properly. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The setup package generally installs about 7 files and is usually about 8.59 MB (9,003,978 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows Vista (SP2). While about 95% of users of The Calendar Planner Standard Edition come from the United States, it is also popular in Netherlands.
