What is Shooting Balls Gallery?
Shooting Balls Gallery is a free casual video game distributed via the MyPlayCity installer (which will modify the user's browser homepage and default search provider to myplaycity.com within Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome). While the game itself is free to download, uninstalling it will not restore the changes made to the user's browser, although this can be done manually. The game also has some advertising popups when laoding as well as pops open a web page with ads after being played.
Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named shootingballs.exe.
