Retro/Grade

What is Retro/Grade?  (from 24 Caret Games)

Retro/Grade is a rhythm game with a unique twist - time is flowing backwards! While it looks like a shoot 'em up in reverse, you must un-fire attacks to the beat of the music while avoiding enemy fire in order to save the space/time continuum. Otherwise, a temporal anomaly will rip the universe a new time-hole.

Overview

Retro/Grade is a software program developed by 24 Caret Games. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named RetroGrade.exe. The setup package generally installs about 46 files and is usually about 246.56 MB (258,534,005 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 56% of users of Retro/Grade come from the United States, it is also popular in Australia and United Kingdom.
