What is Registry Cleaner Pro?
Registry Cleaner Pro is marketed as a 'PC optimization' software program that works by cleaning the PC's registry whose purpose is to remove redundant items from the Windows registry. The usefulness of registry cleaners is controversial and teh software may make no distinction as to the severity of the errors detected and thus may erroneously categorize errors as critical.
Overview
It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). Many users end up uninstalling this after less than a month of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 13 files and is usually about 13.39 MB (14,042,509 bytes).
