What is Mozilla Firefox x86 it?

Firefox has established a reputation as one of the most innovative web browsers in the market. Its advanced features include built-in spell checking, tabbed browsing, live bookmarking which allows you to keep an eye on changes to news sites form the bookmarks bar, private browsing, and geolocation that can help customize location-based recommendations.

About  (from Mozilla)

How you use the Web is unique. Firefox lets you change it to match. Remove what you don’t use, keep what you do and put it just about anywhere you want. Firefox was named the ”speed king” in independent benchmark and performance tests against other browsers. Save time and do just about anything quicker than before.

Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is firefox.exe. The software installer includes 48 files and is usually about 66.2 MB (69,415,211 bytes). updater.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.
