Remove MiKTeX 2.9

MiKTeX is a typesetting system for Microsoft Windows that is developed by Christian Schenk. It consists of an implementation of TeX and a set of related programs. MiKTeX provides the tools necessary to prepare documents using the TeX/LaTeX markup language, as well a simple tex editor (TeXworks). MiKTeX can update itself by downloading new versions of previously installed components and packages, and has an easy installation process. Additionally, it can ask users whether they wish to download any packages that have not yet been installed but are requested by the current document.

The most common release is 2.9, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. The primary executable is named mo.exe. The setup package generally installs about 124 files and is usually about 552.91 KB (566,183 bytes).

• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove MiKTeX.
