This toolbar also changes your homepage to home.sweetim.com While some people may find SweetIM toolbar useful, this browser add-on can be categorized as an unwanted application. The homepage that is set to default by this toolbar is enhanced by deceptive ads which redirects PC users to survey pages. The toolbar is typically bundled with the free SweetIM program as an option during installation and does not necessarily get uninstalled when SweetIM is removed from the user's PC and must be removed manually. Additionally, if the home page and search settings were modified by this toolbar, they need to be manually reverted back by the user.

How do I remove Internet Explorer Toolbar by SweetPacks?

You can uninstall Internet Explorer Toolbar by SweetPacks from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
  1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
    • Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
  2. When you find the program Internet Explorer Toolbar 4.9 by SweetPacks, click it, and then do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
