HomeTab 6.0

Overview

HomeTab 6.0 is a program developed by Widdit. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is WSearchKeeper.exe. Typically most users end up uninstalling this just after a few days. The software installer includes 17 files and is usually about 5.09 MB (5,340,317 bytes). TBUpdater.dll is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released. In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 25% of users of HomeTab come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and United Kingdom.
