What is GinyasBrowserCompanion?
Ginyas Browser Companion is a browser extension (Browser Helper Object in IE) that promises to save time and money for users while shopping online. It is often install on a computer bundled with various third party programs. Once installed it will monitor web page activity and inject affiliate links within various shopping sites in order to collect revenue. The add-in also displays various forms of advertising such as popups, pop unders as well as injected inline links.
"The Ginyas Browser Companion is a freeware that serves online ads which may automatically provide browsing related information such as offers, coupons, special marketing deals, similar sites, etc. These advertisements may appear be in the form of pop-ups, pop unders, in text links and similar forms when you browse the internet and is bundled with many third party software applications. If you have the Browser Companion add-on installed, this means that you agreed to download it during the installation of such third party software."

How do I remove GinyasBrowserCompanion?
You can uninstall GinyasBrowserCompanion from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program GinyasBrowserCompanion, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove GinyasBrowserCompanion.
