FileZilla Client

What is FileZilla Client?  (from Tim Kosse)

FileZilla Client is a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface. Supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). HTTP/1.1, SOCKS5 and FTP-Proxy support.

FileZilla Client is a software program developed by Tim Kosse. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named filezilla.exe. The setup package generally installs about 14 files and is usually about 8.96 MB (9,398,978 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 35% of users of FileZilla Client come from the United States, it is also popular in France and Germany.
