What is CoupExteension?

The program uses the InstalleRex download manager from WebPicks Holdings to install itself on the user's PC. InstalleRex is known for distributing potentially unwanted applications including web browser toolbars and various ad-supported extensions. The software is a variant of a known adware all with names for shopping, saving or coupons, but is re-branded to mask its origination although is includes all of the same components.


It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. The primary executable is named QmHdSxlB.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package is about 906.13 KB (927,876 bytes) when donwloaded.
