What is Cloob Messenger?
Cloob Messenger bundles a branded version of the Conduit Toolbar, which delivers search based advertising and results. During installation the user is presented in some cases with the option to install the toolbar. Once accepted, the packaged executable, ConduitInstaller.exe, will download and install the necessary components for the Conduit Toolbar.
Overview
The most used version is 2.11.0.19, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is CloobMessenger.exe. The software installer includes 66 files and is usually about 1.98 MB (2,073,008 bytes).

Cloob Messenger has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.
