How do I remove xVidly?

You can uninstall xVidly from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
  1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
    • Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
  2. When you find the program xVidly, click it, and then do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
  3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove xVidly.
  4. If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.

I concur with the comments about xvidly being a nuisance. I haven't been unable to delete it either.

Same here i do as they say to uninstall it and doesn't work. I dont even know how it got on my desk top computer at home why make it so complicated to uninstall really you guys need to fix this problem.

i dont even know how i got xvidly onto my laptop and there are alot of other things on here that i know i didnt pout here willingly,how do i delete,uninstall them? please reply back,i really am pissed that this crap is even on my laptop right now and i cant seem to find it to remove it,you know,like i would any other normal app,i can remove,but nooo not this one,i cant even find it,you guys do this on purpose so as not to let anyone uninstall,you guys suck,really you do,just saying ;)
