PDFsam is a free, open source, platform independent tool released under GPLv2 license and designed to perform split, merge and other manipulations on pdf document. It’s released in 2 versions, basic and enhanced.

Overview

pdfsam is a program developed by Andrea Vacondio. The most used version is 2.2.1, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software installer includes 6 files and is usually about 5.98 MB (6,275,105 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10.
