What is pdfforge Toolbar?

This toolbar is typiclaly bundled with the installation of the free version of PDF Forge that installs a Spigot toolbar in your Web browser that collects and stores information about your web browsing habits and sends this information to Spigot so they can suggest services or provide ads via the toolbar. The toolbar is typically bundled with the free PDFCreator program as an option during installation and does not necessarily get uninstalled when PDFCreator is removed from the user's PC and must be removed manually. If the home page and search settings were modified by this toolbar, they need to be manually reverted back by the user.

How do I remove pdfforge Toolbar?

You can uninstall pdfforge Toolbar from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
  1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:

Yesterday I installed the latest version of PDF Creator on my workstation and immediately got malware warnings about the pdfforge toolbar from McAfee VirusScan.
