What is InfoAtoms?

InfoAtoms is and adware web browser plugin designed to provide users with information regarding specific words and expressions that they highlight with the mouse cursor. The interface of InfoAtoms consists of three tabs: Research, Translate, and Thesaurus. It works by installing a web browser extension, for IE the extension is a Browser Helper Object, that allows you to contextually highlight text in your web browser to perform an action via a popup.

The program will automatically modify various settings in the user's web browser upon installation, these include:
- Disables Internet Explorer Load Time Alert.
- Disables Internet Explorer Accelerators.
- In Firefox it loads a lock file that prevents removal of InfoAtoms.
- Disables the Content Security Policy (CSP) in Chrome and Firefox (Warning, this will lessen the security of the browser and PC in general).
