What is iToolBox?

iToolBox is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is typically bundled and distributed through 3rd party download managers. After the installation process, iToolBox will become your default search engine and/or your default home page (search and homepage hijacker).

From the EULA: "The application has a new feature: it displays search results from some of your favorite sites directly in the window that you have opened. On search engines there will be ads beneath iToolBox, the ads are recognized as originating from iToolBox. iToolBox and all related ads are not affiliated with or endorsed by any underlying websites. The iToolBox application provides this feature through the following process: queries that you submit on the site you are searching, and the display of ads or search results in response to those queries in a natural, cohesive manner."
