Coupon Caddy

What is Coupon Caddy?

Coupon Caddy from 215 Apps (Amazing Apps/Friendly Apps) installs a web browser extension such as an Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object (BHO) in order to view web pages loaded and look for affiliated merchants in order to provide alternative deals on a given product or merhcant. It might also show related coupons in yoru web browser for simular products or merchants when you browse the Internet. Coupon Caddy is a ad supported product and will show you advertisements as you browse the web. When you install the plug-in, it also has a background process that will attempt to disabled other 'conflicting' extensions that might interfere with it, this includes other competing products as well as some security products (in the software's EULA, you actually agreed to this) "By installing the Plugin, you consent to the Plugin in disabling other conflicting software and we understand you have chosen to use our software to customize your social media pages over other available software packages".

This thing will hijack advertisements with its own, specifically for Facebook, eBay, Amazon, Buy.com or pretty much any other site that displays ads such as Adsense. I am a website owner who has some ads and displayed and was shocked to see that this plugin actually overwrite my ads with there custom ones.
