What is AppSafe?
This is an ad-supported product that install additional software and uses InstallCore to distribute and may bundle additional unwanted software (toolbars, etc.).
Interesting points from the EUAL: "By installing the Software you are giving us your express permission to access the operating system and all Installed Items on your personal computer or device in order to ascertain the availability of updates to such Installed Items or the advisability of obtaining additional third-party software.
During your use of the Software we may present you with third party advertisements. The Company has no control and takes no responsibility for the content of these advertisements and the sites or applications to which they may direct."
The software is also distributed through various download managers/bundlers that include adware such as ADLSoft and SuperCool Applications.

How do I remove AppSafe?
You can uninstall AppSafe from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.

- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.

- When you find the program AppSafe, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove AppSafe.
- If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
