Overview

WinPcap 4.1.3 is a software program developed by Riverbed Technology. The most common release is 4.1.0.2980, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The setup package generally installs about 11 files and is usually about 469.05 MB (491,837,931 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 40% of users of WinPcap come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and France.

I am trying to install Wireshark/WinPcap, but it won't work because it says that there is an older version of WinPcap installed. Also, it won't allow me to uninstall WinPcap because it says another program is using it. I have checked the Add/Remove programs and WinPcap is not on there. I am at a loss as to what program is using it... Any help welcome thanks!
