SurfShield is a downloadable browser add-on that is ad-supported and display third-part ads in the user's web browser by installing a proxy server and injecting ads such as banner and text links. As stated in the Terms, "SurfShield is free to download and use. SurfShield is supported by advertising, and users will see additional ads on websites where SurfShield features operate.
