What is Search Assistant?

This is a web browser plugin that is potentially unwanted and ad-supported. In addition to displaying advertisements, as part of the installation process the publisher may offer changes to the web browser settings. Such changes may include the following:

How do I remove Search Assistant?

You can uninstall Search Assistant from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
  1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
