Remove Rosetta Stone V3

Rosetta Stone is proprietary computer-assisted language learning (CALL) software published by Rosetta Stone Inc. The software uses images, text, sound, and video to teach words and grammar by spaced repetition, without translation. To use Rosetta Stone, a student needs the Rosetta Stone application software and at least one level of a language course. Rosetta Stone Version 3 is not backward compatible with language courses developed for Rosetta Stone Versions 1 or 2. In Rosetta Stone versions 3 and 4, a language pack has 3-5 levels. The lessons differ by language. Compared with Version 2, Version 3 lessons focus more on conversation and less on grammar rules.

The most used version is 3.2.11, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The software installer includes 24 files and is usually about 136.3 KB (139,572 bytes).

• Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
2. When you find the program Rosetta Stone V3, click it, and then do one of the following:
• Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Rosetta Stone.
