PrivitizeVPN

What is PrivitizeVPN?

Privitize VPN is an advertsing supported VPN client for home computer users that provides anonymous Internet browsing through a free VPN service, yet displays 3rd party advertisements and bundles various potentially unwanted software during installation including a toolbar (Searchtab, which modifies the users web browser home page and search settings) as well as MagnPic, an aware program. During installation, if the user does not select the 'Custom installation' options, these bundles applications will be automatically installed.

While you use the VPN service, ads will be displayed:
"Privitize may share anonymous data with a variety of third parties, including its affiliates, advertisers, and other current and prospective business partners. Privitize may use anonymous data collected for website administration, advertising, and promotional purposes, and may share such information with various affiliated and unaffiliated entities for such purposes. Privitize may also enter into agreements with outside companies that possess technology that allows Privitize to customize the advertising and marketing messages Users receive while using the Privitize VPN, and those outside companies may have access to anonymous data that was collected from Privitize VPN users."

Been using this for a while, as everyone else has been saying just make sure to do the advanced install and uncheck the options for the third party junk. It works great for BitTorrent and sets your location to Sweden (get some neat ads). Not always the most available tool, but for free I cannot complain.

Been using this VPN for a while now and have had no issues with it. As the other commenter said just ensure that when you install it use the Custom install option.

I've been using this privitize VPN since it have been offered on piratebay since years ago. it uses is mainly to avoid throttling of my bandwidth. im happy using it since i can also surf to banned websites and is very lightweight too. just make sure to go with custom installation and untick unrelevent options.

I've had NO problems with this program. It makes ones ip appear to be in Sweden, so this gives the user access to streams reserved for European markets. I give it a thumbs up.
