PC SpeedBoost is a software tool that automatically repairs PC registry errors. The free version of this software repairs file associations and font entries, and allows you to remove startup programs.
Overview
PCSpeedBoost 1.0.5 is a software program developed by Boost Software. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The primary executable is named pcspeedboost.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 21 files and is usually about 24.71 MB (25,907,936 bytes).
