Overview

Mobogenie is a software program developed by Beijing Yang Fan Jing He Information Consulting Co. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named mobogenie.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 43 files and is usually about 44.39 MB (46,546,384 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 8. While about 20% of users of Mobogenie come from the United States, it is also popular in Brazil and MA.

@Cyber Bob :) The absurdity that this program does is that it always automatically (somehow) enables itself on that startup list on every reboot. I even tried to delete the registry files but they reappeared just like the latter after I restarted my PC.
