What is MFC-9120CN?
The MFC-9120CN driver package contains the required software for connecting the Brother monochrome laser printer to the user's PC. In addition to the driver, the package contains setup and management utilities used to administer functions of the printer and connection as well as the printer's firmware.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The setup package generally installs about 22 files and is usually about 14.03 MB (14,712,374 bytes).
