Overview

Keynote Internet Testing Environment is a program developed by Keynote Systems. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is knbase.exe. The software installer includes 42 files. KeynoteUpdater.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released. A majority of the PCs this is running on, most OS versions are Windows 10. The distribution of this has mostly been seen in the United States.
