Overview
Half-Life: Counter-Strike is a program developed by Gearbox Software. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is cstrike.exe. The software installer includes 30 files and is usually about 93.88 MB (98,439,866 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 60% of users of Half-Life: Counter-Strike come from the United States, it is also popular in Philippines and France.
