What is HQVideoB?
This is a web browser extension that injects various forms of advertisements in the user's web browser. These ads could be in the form of banners, text contextual links and popups/popunders shown outside the user's browser. The software uses the Crossrider corss browser toolbar platform and runs in IE, Chrome and Firefox.
Overview
During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). The primary executable is named HQVideoB-codedownloader.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 8 files and is usually about 6.77 MB (7,097,928 bytes).
