FreeRIP is a program for copying music from your CDs onto your computer's hard drive. It does a great job of copying songs you select or the whole CD, and it contains no malware of any kind as far as i know. As with all free software, look carefully at each step of the dialog box during installation to see if they are offering to also install extra add-on stuff such as a browser toolbar, extra search engine, etc. If so, UNCHECK the box beside the extra add-on to avoid installing any unwanted stuff. These days nearly all free software seems to have "add-ons", but don't let that prevent you from using good free software, just uncheck the boxes to avoid unwanted extras!
