Freecorder can be uninstalled from the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs capability in Windows. You may need to uninstall the Freecorder Applications and Freecorder Toolbar separately to remove Freecorder in its entirety.
Overview
Free Media Recorder Toolbar is a software program developed by Conduit. The most common release is 6.9.0.16, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. The program adds a toolbar to Microsoft Internet Explorer. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main executable is Free_Media_RecorderToolbarHelper.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU load of less than one percent. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. It also bundles additional software in the form of the Conduit Engine, which installs a potentially unwanted toolbar, and makes homepage and default search engine changes to a user's web browser. The setup package generally installs about 11 files and is usually about 12.52 MB (13,129,338 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of those who have this installed, most are running it on Windows 7 (SP1). Most users that have installed this software come from the United States.

How do I remove Free Media Recorder Toolbar?
You can uninstall Free Media Recorder Toolbar from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
