EvilLyrics is a free utility that automatically searches for lyrics as your song is played in your media player. It searches over 5,000,000 lyrics. Currently supports Winamp, Windows Media Player, iTunes, RealPlayer, Foobar, Jetaudio, QCD, MusicMatch, MediaMonkey and Yahoo! Music Engine.
Overview
EvilLyrics is a software program developed by Evil Laboratories. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named EvilLyrics.exe. The setup package generally installs about 8 files and is usually about 2.39 MB (2,507,954 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 41% of users of EvilLyrics come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and Italy.
