EditScript MT is the software that MTs use to transcribe or edit reports. Connected to the internet, MTs download dictations, edit or transcribe them, and upload completed work. EditScript MT is integrated with Microsoft Word and uses many familiar word shortcuts.
Overview
EditScript MT is a program developed by Nuance Communications. The most used version is 10.26.0.8, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software installer includes 43 files and is usually about 45.65 MB (47,864,848 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows XP.
