What is Easy Resolution Manager?
Samsung includes a utility pre-installed on new PCs called Easy Resolution Manager that lets users toggle the virtual screen resolution between 1024 x 600 and 1024 x 768. While it's technically impossible to get any extra pixels onto the screen, the 1024 x 768 mode fakes it by doubling up some pixels and treating the screen as if it had a higher resolution than it does.

Easy Resolution Manager provides a resolution optimized for the LCD panel, and the 1024x768 resolution is provided for more convenient use of the small-sized LCD panel. If a user selects a resolution and clicks the Apply or OK button, the resolution is switched to the selected resolution.

How do I remove Easy Resolution Manager?
You can uninstall Easy Resolution Manager from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Easy Resolution Manager, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Easy Resolution Manager.
