What is Dell Game Console?

Dell Game Console is the Dell branded version of the WildTangent game center that is pre-installed with many Dell PCs. During pre-install it includes several WT games already loaded on to the PC for instant trial play If you do not play WildTangent games or do not wish to use the trail versions you may uninstall this software.

Overview

It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is gameconsole.exe. The software installer includes 12 files and is usually about 11.49 MB (12,051,252 bytes).
