Configuration DivX
What is Configuration DivX?
Configuration DivX is the installer for the DivX player and codecs. DivX is a brand name of products created by DivX, Inc. including the DivX Codec which became popular due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality. There are two DivX codecs; the regular MPEG-4 Part 2 DivX codec and the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC DivX Plus HD codec. It is one of several codecs commonly associated with "ripping", whereby audio and video multimedia are transferred to a hard disk and transcoded.

How do I remove Configuration DivX?
You can uninstall Configuration DivX from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:

- When you find the program Configuration DivX, click it, and then do one of the following:

- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Configuration DivX.
