ClipX

What is ClipX?  (from Francis Gastellu)

ClipX is a tiny clipboard history manager for Windows. This simple clipboard program captures text and images copied to the Windows Clipboard and allows the user to access a history of copied items, any item of which can be reselected for pasting.

Overview

ClipX is a software program developed by Francis Gastellu. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The setup package generally installs about 10 files and is usually about 12.42 MB (13,020,268 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 48% of users of ClipX come from the United States, it is also popular in United Kingdom and Italy.
