BrowserSafeguard

What is BrowserSafeguard?

Also known as iBryte BrowserSafeguard, the software is distributed through numerous adware bundlers including optimum-installer, FUSION INSTALL and Tint Installer. The program also installs a Trusted Root certificate (as DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot) that servery lowers the security level of the PC as the software will trust BrowserSafeguard actions. The software will run at startup in the background.

BrowserSafeguard.Proxy works as a web proxy that will intercept traffic and perform modifications such as advertising injects, etc.
