Overview
Blue Coat ProxyClient is a software program developed by Blue Coat Systems. The most common release is 3.4.4.6, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The setup package generally installs about 80 files and is usually about 17.45 MB (18,294,883 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 8. While about 52% of users of Blue Coat ProxyClient come from the United States, it is also popular in India and Australia.
