What is Adobe Update Manager CS4?
Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) uses the Adobe Update Manager (AUM) to notify users of product or component updates and automate the download and installation of these updates. The updater will automatically connect to the Internet to check for updates for the installed Adobe products. To allow Adobe to collect information about successes and failures of updates the Update Install Reporting feature is added.

How do I remove Adobe Update Manager CS4?
You can uninstall Adobe Update Manager CS4 from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Adobe Update Manager CS4, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Adobe Update Manager CS4.
