What is AAVUpdateManager?

AVS Update Manager is the update program which runs on the PC and checks for updates and automatically downloads and installs them if found. The program is primarily designed to keep the software up to date or provide product upgrades. In addition to releasing new versions of the software at regular intervals, the update program can provide additional information to the user or to the remote server. If it finds an item to download, it will download and install the new update.

It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The main program executable is aavus.exe. The software installer includes 22 files and is usually about 32.02 MB (33,573,425 bytes). OnlineUpdate.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.
